Navigating the world of digital dating can be frustrating, hilarious and hilariously frustrating, and that’s as true for adult-industry performers as it is for the rest of us. Join us as a few of our favorite stars share their stories—the good, the bad and the mind-boggling.
Dating is hard! Finding the right person to connect with, enduring awkward conversations and hoping to find that certain someone who sweeps you off your feet can feel like a full-time job. Dating apps have become the go-to for finding a life partner or even a fun romp in the sack—though the apps, too, present their own headaches. And while it’s difficult enough for most people to navigate this digital dating world, it presents unique challenges for adult-industry performers.
We interviewed four of our favorite XXX treats about their experiences (good and bad) with navigating the world of digital dating apps!
HUSTLERMagazine.com: What led you to join a dating app?
Viki Vice: I joined a few dating apps about two years ago when the partner I was with wanted to try an open relationship, and I was fine with that. So, I figured that I would get out there and try to find some fun and like-minded folks to spend my time with.
Valentine Vonbettie: I was previously on various dating apps such as Tinder, OKCupid and Feeld. Honestly, a variety of reasons led me to these apps, such as seeking casual encounters, the possibility of finding a viable partner(s), or at one point I painted it like I was a professional unicorn (a lot of people were spooked at the idea of compensation).
Bree Austin: I’m not super social, so this was kind of the only way to meet someone. I had used them prior to my adult career, and hey, every once in a while if the dating doesn’t work, you meet someone that you can film with!
