Layla Rose has a thing for the past. “I’m a huge Marilyn Monroe fan,” she confesses. “If I could travel in time, I’d go back to the 1950s so I could meet her. Since that probably won’t happen, I’ve been reading a lot of books about her, like The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, which is great.”

Although Monroe is constantly on her mind, Layla’s sexiest memory evokes an iconic scene from a 1950s flick that didn’t star the blond bombshell. Channeling From Here to Eternity, Layla gushes about an unforgettable evening: “I was on the beach at night with my boyfriend. All the stars were shining; no one was around. It got really hot, sand was flying everywhere, and the water was about to hit us. It felt so good, out in the open, knowing we could get caught at any second. It was paradise.”

Layla is fairly new to the modeling game, but being in front of the camera has been a goal since she was a kid. “Growing up, I was always told that I was beautiful,” Layla recalls, “so I dreamed about pursuing modeling. When an actual chance came up for me to do it, I took it.”

Now Layla hopes that modeling (both clothed and nude gigs) will pay her way through college. The breathtaking Latina isn’t sure what she’ll study, but music, fashion and acting might figure in. They’re three of her passions. “I love music because it takes me away from where I am,” Layla notes. “My favorite artists are Mariah Carey, Drake and the Dream. I love throwback artists too, like Lil Kim and Tupac.”

Layla Rose may regard the past fondly, but she seems more than ready to embrace her future.
