Rebel Lynn’s childhood was no Norman Rockwell portrait of familial bliss. Far from it. During a recent interview with HUSTLERMagazine.com, XXX actress Lynn—the star of offerings such as All Natural Saints, Girls Night Out and My Lesbian Mother-in-Law, detailed a tumultuous childhood marked by parental drug abuse, foster care, molestation and physical abuse, resulting in a teenage Lynn living in group homes and grappling with thoughts of taking her own life.
“During this time, as you can imagine, I was sexually frustrated, confused and had no idea where my place was in life. I couldn’t be around men, especially alone, being afraid that they would hurt me. Dating was extremely hard, almost nonexistent, and I struggled with suicide for a very long time,” Lynn tells HUSTLERMagazine.com. “That was a very low moment of my life. It was a point where I didn’t know what to do or where to go after that.”
While Lynn’s story could have ended in ultimate tragedy, the adult actress now leads a happy, fulfilling life, with goals for the future and a desire to mentor new talent—and to help others who, like her, had difficult upbringings.
Despite the oft-painted portrait of the XXX industry serving as a destructive force in the lives of those who inhabit it, Lynn credits her experience in porn with her turnaround from troubled youth to ambitious adult, attesting that the experience “ultimately saved me.”
