HUSTLERMagazine.com: You shoot Damsel In Distress content! When did you first come across this genre?
Tina Lee Comet: I think that we all come across this genre in film and television, and don’t quite know that there is a fetish for it until, well, you know, hahaha. I found out that it was a “thing” when I first started in the adult industry around 15 years ago. Damsel In Distress bondage was the first type of porn that I ever shot, as the damsel of course. Call me naive, but I had no idea that ladies being bound and rolling around pretending to be in peril was something that people masturbated to. I mean, I had definitely seen images of BDSM and knew about that, but the whole being in peril and distress…I thought that was just something you’d see on ’60s Batman or cartoons where a femme is tied to train tracks. Linking it to porn as a fetish was sort of mind-blowing to my young brain, in a good way.
Madalynn Raye: I did shoot Damsel in Distress content; now I film “D.I.D.”—we can’t use the word “distress” in our marketing anymore on most websites. But, I was first personally exposed to the genre a long, long, time ago. One of my first modeling shoots had light bondage mixed into it, and from the time those pictures were posted online, my name started circulating around the Midwest, and I was contacted by other bondage producers who tied up their models very tightly and gagged them with cloth, tape, ball gags, etc. All it took was one good picture with roped wrists and a pleading expression, and I was hired over and over again for damsel scenes.
AJ Marion: At the beginning of my career in 2011, actually. I was helping out at a shoot with Christina Carter, Serene Isley, David Andrews and JBRoper. I watched Christina and Serene play the damsel in all kinds of situations, including being tied up in the front loader of a tractor. It looked interesting and fun! Later in the day, I got to be in a couple of scenes with them!
