HUSTLERMagazine.com: You were bed-bound in your late teens but instead of being idle, you chose to be creative. Tell us about it!

Emvlina: I always loved art, but by the time I was 19 I was doing OnlyFans full-time while also working regular jobs like Victoria’s [Secret] and Bath and Body Works, and had kind of reached a point of severe burnout from working. There came a point in time where my body just was exhausted and I was getting a lot of testing done. They thought I had several autoimmune diseases, and there was even a point where I was scheduled for an MRI for my brain to check for a potential tumor. Although my body had stopped working, my mind was still very much active and intact. So, I went to Amazon and got myself a little $50 kit for beginners to crochet, and I didn’t go to college, unless you count YouTube University, where I decided to learn all my skills. I headed onto YouTube and old ladies explained to me.

You’re self-taught! What was that process like?

The fun thing with crochet is, once you learn a handful of stitches and patterns, you can make so many things. Once you know how to make a blanket, now you already know how to make a scarf. Once you know how to make a scarf, you just attach it, and now you know how to make a skirt, and now you know how to make a hat. It makes you look so damn smart! Everyone is always so impressed, and they think you’re some kind of genius and have no idea how you do it, but you’ll be shocked at how quickly you pick it up.

How often do you grab the yarn and go to town?
