“The book is going to be about my life. Not just my life and times in the adult business,” XXX legend says
Porn legend Amber Lynn will be adding the title of “author” to her list of accomplishments in the coming months, with a years-in-the-making autobiography planned for release next year.
While Lynn unquestionably has a boatload of stories from her decades in the adult industry, readers who think the upcoming tome will be a mere collection of juicy porn tidbits should think again. During a recent, wide-ranging interview with HUSTLERMagazine.com, Lynn divulged that the book will largely be “about my journey to my own personal self-acceptance.”
Pressed for anecdotes from the autobiography, the XXX luminary notes that the book’s scope will extend beyond her experience as a porn phenomenon and delve into her path to overcoming substance abuse—and overcoming others’ assertions that her experience in the adult industry was to blame for that abuse.
“There was a big part of my life where I had to face some demons that were self-created through my own alcohol and drug abuse that had nothing to do with me being a porn star.”
