Meet Lacy and Dan, a couple who have turned their love of the swinging lifestyle into a thriving podcast enterprise.
The Swing Nation podcast co-host Dan sometimes needs to remind himself it could be worse—even if he’s spending a stressful 50-60 hours a week managing and promoting he and wife Lacy’s swinger-friendly brand, the ex-military man realizes it’s not the most difficult job he’s ever had.
“I’m not getting shot at in Afghanistan,” he laughs. “It’s planning a sex party in Miami, which is a pretty good day.”
It’s no surprise that Dan and Lacy have made a career out of Swing Nation, as their first encounter was via a swingers website. Dan’s job brought him to Lacy’s neck of the woods in the Nashville area, and the two were solos individually looking for play partners.
Happily, they found each other, but as interested as both immediately were, a first-day date wasn’t in the cards: Dan and Lacy each already had trysts scheduled with other people that day, so their rendezvous had to be delayed.
That’s what Dan decided, anyway. The lusty Lacy was ready to go on Day One, but Dan “held out.” Until the next day, that is. After that, they became “inseparable.”
The relationship was initially long-distance, with some 500 miles between them, and “completely open,” but they tried to make it work. Dan wasn’t sure it was possible, if only for logistical reasons, but Lacy knew.
