A recent study from Dating Scout, for instance, shows the optimal tempo for mating melodies is around 119 to 120 beats per minute [BPM], while the real libido destroyers typically fall into the R&B genre—a style that was once known as baby-making music—which usually falls into the 60 BPM range. And while many audiophiles consider slower, groovier tunes sexy, the study finds that they have no place in porking.
