Recent research has determined that “big dick energy” is a real thing, but take note—even if you’re packing, your sex life could still be lacking.
There’s a popular belief that a man either walks through the world with “big dick energy” or he’s a fucking loser. If the latter is the case, the poor bastard is supposedly doomed to a life of the sadly ineffectual, unworthy of all the dripping-wet poon out there waiting to be filled. For years, the term “big dick energy” has functioned mostly as a humorous descriptor of the kind of guy the jukebox stops for when he walks into a bar. However, a new study suggests the joke may have some truth to it. According to researchers at the University of Western Australia, a man’s size, shape and stature don’t just inspire confidence—they determine how he’s judged for his porkability. Bigger, as it happens, may actually be better.
The peer-reviewed study presented hundreds of computer-generated male bodies—varying in height, build and penis size—to large groups of men and women. Participants were asked to rate each figure on attractiveness and physical threat. The results were unambiguous—taller men with V-shaped torsos and larger packages were seen as both sexier and more intimidating. In other words, the men who women found most desirable are the same men who other guys instinctively wouldn’t want to provoke toward violence.
Some of the people we spoke to say researchers might be onto something. “I met Peter Steele of Type O Negative years ago at a record signing and, as nice as he was, you just knew he was not to be messed with,” Dan, 58, tells HUSTLERMagazine.com of his encounter with the since-deceased 6’8” metal vocalist. “Every woman there wanted his dick.”
