Good news, older guys! Contrary to popular misconception, your sex drive doesn’t necessarily diminish as you age—it might even increase!
Once upon a time, young men were told they’d hit their sexual peak at 18—right around the age they were old enough to go to war and get their dicks blown off for their country. No one questioned the logic. After all, younger men walk around at full mast if so much as a light breeze hits their jeans. Any more intensity and their boners might detach and take flight. It stood to reason that, after 18, there was nowhere else to go but down—quite literally.
But wouldn’t you know it, that may not be true. It turns out that the whole early-peaking narrative may have been a huge crock of caca. According to a recent study, 18 might mark a man’s coming of age, but his sexual peak doesn’t really kick in until he’s reaching for his cholesterol meds.

The sex experts are tickled pink that science is finally catching up with reality. “There is definitely a lot of evidence to suggest that male sexual desire increases as they age,” Dr. Jordan Soper, licensed psychologist and certified sex therapist, tells HUSTLERMagazine.com. What men often fail to understand, however, is that increased lust is not the same as having a twitchy cock that’s always raring to go.
