Now THAT’s Fucking Funny!

Sex is no laughing matter—or is it? According to a new study, yukking it up in the bedroom could boost your screwing satisfaction.

We all tend to take all this sex stuff a little too seriously at times, so most fuckers don’t appreciate laughter when they’re naked. Why, to giggle while getting some suggests there must be something wrong—that the sex is subpar, perhaps even genuinely, laughably bad. It’s the sort of thing that has the potential to cause a cataclysmic dust-up in the bedroom.

However, as it happens, going off the deep end about a little fuck-time chuckling is the wrong response.

It turns out that laughing in the bedroom is healthy, according to a recent study in The Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality. Researchers say the couples who can laugh at each other in the sack are steps ahead of those who tend to take the defensive when lust-adjacent laughter ensues. The study contends that people in relationships who regularly engage in sexual humor experience higher levels of satisfaction, not to mention a stronger bond. A little laughter sans pants, researchers say, can defuse those awkward moments that often happen during sex—such as farting, bad breath or clumsily fashioned dirty talk. “The unique contribution of sexual humor to sexual satisfaction suggests it may play a modest but distinctive role in sexual well-being,” the study’s authors wrote.

“I don’t think you can have a satisfying relationship without the ability to laugh at one another, even during sex.”
