Daphne Dare is a woman of many talents, both in front of and behind the camera—sometimes at the same time. In addition to her growing list of credits in such XXX fare as Barely Legal #169: 69ing My Stepsister and The Goo Place, this up-and-comer from Seattle is building an impressive body of work that includes her artistic self-portraits and female-centric paintings, many of which can be seen on her Instagram page, @DaphneDare. HUSTLERMagazine.com recently caught up with Dare to discuss her diverse creative output, her taste for S&M (and other women) and her Depeche Mode obsession.
HUSTLERMagazine.com: What appealed to you about getting into the adult industry?
Daphne Dare: I like the exhibitionist side of it, I guess. I like sex, I like showing off my body and all that.
I suppose the adult industry’s a good place to do that. Were you an exhibitionist growing up?
Yeah. I think one day I just realized, Oh, I have a nice body, and maybe I can do this for money. [Laughs.]
Has there been a standout scene for you so far?
