Sex and germophobia aren’t always the best bedmates, but with a little work and patience, even the biggest cooties-fearer can learn to have a filthy good time.
It can be tough at times to get down and dirty with a significant other, especially if your partner is afraid of dirt. Trying to canoodle with someone nervous about all the germs and other bacteria that might attack them during sex is arguably one of the most challenging romantic dynamics on the dating scene today.
Hey, don’t laugh—it’s a lot more common than you’d think. It is believed that nearly two-thirds of America is now germophobic in our post-pandemic world. People have become clean freaks, relentlessly washing their hands, dousing themselves in hand sanitizer and perhaps being careful not to put their mouths on any naughty bits that might have cooties. To hear some people tell it, the challenges are vast. “I was with a woman about ten years ago who acted like she was afraid of getting AIDS every time we had sex,” Mike, 42, tells HUSTLERMagazine.com, adding that her fear was a tad nonsensical. “We used a condom every time—and, oh, by the way, I don’t have AIDS.”
“I’m off pussy until after flu season. It never fails. I’ll go home with someone and end up sicker than a dog.”
