Things can get pretty hairy when another guy chats up your woman right in front of you. Here’s how to navigate this sticky situation.
As any guy who has ever been interrupted by some ballsy SOB flirting with his date in front of him knows, the situation can get rather hairy, rather quickly. A flood of emotions ranging from anger to jealousy tends to boil to the surface, and aside from slapping the prick upside the head with a plate of mozzarella sticks, there’s not much else a guy can do. Meanwhile, she’s on the other side of the table like a cat eating a canary because some younger stud, perhaps even one of a certain loathsome attractiveness, finds her irresistible enough to risk getting punched in the mouth just to talk to her.
Of course, on the flip side, that same guy might gloat all the way home if the waitress flirts with him in front of his wife during the main course. Human nature is wild. It’s not enough that our significant others seem to find us appealing; we need perfect strangers to lust after us, too, and we need our partners to witness it when it happens.
“I feel like my girl should want me more if another woman flirts with me in front of her,” Jake, 33, tells HUSTLERMagazine.com. “I’m increasing in value right before her eyes.”
