A new study has found that older women aren’t getting laid as much as they’d like to, but take heart, ladies—there are definite sexual advantages to getting up there in years.
Porn sometimes gets mocked for being unrealistic. Like, how often do step-siblings actually bone, amiright?! But one thing that the adult industry understands is that MILFs and cougars are fine, sexual goddesses who desire romps just as much as their younger counterparts. In its recently published 2022 Sex Report, telehealth company Him & Hers found that 80% of women over 45 want more sex than they’re getting. It’s a dilemma that’s confirmed by the sex-deprived older women we spoke with.
“My husband had an affair with a younger woman,” Marjorie*, 56, tells HUSTLERMagazine.com. “He and I still had sex about once a month, but I knew his needs were getting met somewhere else.”
Luckily, Marjorie’s tale of sexual neglect has a happy ending. “When I finally left him, I found a man who appreciated me, and we have sex daily,” she adds. “My desire definitely did not decrease because I was older, and I think that’s the case for a lot of women.”
Him & Hers interviewed over 7,000 people about their bedroom lives, and they found one third of Gen X women want to have sex but aren’t, and half of baby boomer women aren’t fucking, compared to one quarter of boomer men.
