Wondering why men and women alike seek out younger mates as they get up there in years? Here comes the science…
In Richard Linklater’s cult classic Dazed and Confused, set in rural Texas on the last day of school in 1976, David Wooderson—an older guy who works for the city but still loves to party at his old high school haunts —delivers one of the film’s most-quoted lines. Played by Matthew McConaughey, the Chevelle SS-driving Wooderson quips, “That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older; they stay the same age.”
Decades later, the idea of a 20-something pursuing underage girls is rightfully cringe-worthy by modern standards. Yet, the underlying philosophy—men dig younger chicks—is alive and well.
“Hey, if she’s legal, I don’t see the problem,” Jerry, 53, tells HUSTLERMagazine.com.
