DAY ONE
8:30 a.m.: The first thing I do when I wake up is brush and floss my teeth, then wash my face while scrolling to catch up on the news. Next, I feed my dogs the fresh food I prepared for them in batches a few days ago. Their meal includes rice, two to three vegetables and a protein (chicken or turkey). I like to spoil my fur babies!
8:45 a.m.: Time for my breakfast. Yesterday I made dough for bagels and left it to chill overnight. This morning I boiled and baked them for a delicious breakfast sandwich with fresh ingredients.
9:30 a.m.: I have a hydroponic garden with ten systems (i.e. “smart garden” systems: AeroGarden units, an inBloom, LetPot, RainPoint) and a few five-gallon bucket setups which support around 26 vegetable plants. I check my plants thoroughly every morning and document them a few times a week for my dedicated blog, YouTube channel, TikTok and Instagram pages (@kyliegrowsplants, kyliegrows.com).
