Loved The Wild Bunch, but felt that a healthy dose of hardcore fucking would have made it even more of a classic? Saddle up, cowpoke; Wanted will put you on the trail to satisfaction. Very few XXX videos rise to the level of epic, but this Western-themed joint production between Wicked and Adam & Eve manages the trick, as writer/director Stormy Daniels births a beautifully shot, well-scored treat for the eyes and ears. Which would mean next to nothing without sex scenes of equal quality. Luckily,Wanted ponies up a hefty bounty on that front too. The first scene, between blond lead Anikka Albrite and seasoned woodsman Jay Crew, is probably the least enticing, if only for Crew’s sagging, gray-furred frame. But it drives the plot forward, as the dying wealthy landowner played by Crew (at least he goes out with a bang) grants a land deed to Albrite’s callgirl character Joanna. Elsewhere on the flesh-slapping frontier, cute brunette Cassidy Klein tends to a wounded deputy by patching up his leg and vigorously sucking his man-slab. Amber Rayne (RIP), Mia Li and Tommy Gunn convene in an Indian tepee for a hot fireside threeway, with Rayne and Li taking turns puffing on Gunn’s peace pipe. Later on, Daniels, Albrite and Allie Haze team up for a ballbloating lez-fest. Wanted really only suffers from its own ambitions: At just under three hours, it will test any jerkoff’s patience. But the combination of six-shooters and sweet cooters will bring stiff justice to your lap. —P.D.R.
