Star Trek: The Next Generation A XXX Parody

Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry was supposedly fascinated with the idea of sex in the future and what it would be like. Too bad he’s not around to see this. Sam Hain, the director who did such a fine job with The X-Files homage (The Sex Files), has managed to capture the squeaky-clean atmosphere of the late-’80s-’90s Star Trek series while still releasing all of that pent-up sexual tension. (How did a show with such boring characters ever become a hit?) The story has something to do with the mysterious return of the dead Tasha Yar (India Summer). She’s probably evil, but the crew cares more about other deep-space mysteries, such as those between the legs of April O’Neil and Dana DeArmond. (Future priorities are solid.) The fuck scenes are traditional but engaged, with Kimberly Kane sauntering in for a Crusher climax. This flick is billed as a parody, but it’s actually a pretty serious homage, with above-average acting, production and special effects bolstering a darn-good attempt to simulate the original show. If you hear a deafening moan, don’t panic. It’s just the sound of a million sci-fi geeks exploding (with pleasure).
