What’s the most important thing to do before and after sex?

AIDEN STARR: Before sex make sure you are clean. After sex make sure you get clean!

JOANNA ANGEL: I have the same response to both of these questions: Take a really good and thorough shower using a multitude of different kinds of soaps: one that smells good, then another one that is antibacterial, then another one that moisturizes.

What’s the weirdest sex tip you’ve ever heard—and actually tried?

ASA:  Coconut oil as lube. I prefer spit. But as far as lubes go, pure coconut oil has been the best one I’ve tried. It doesn’t get sticky like water-based lubes, and it doesn’t burn my asshole like silicone-based lubes. It’s also safe to ingest and doesn’t break me out if I get it on my face.

When you’re on set with new partners, how do you figure out what they like? How do you tell them what you like?

ASA:  We usually have a quick discussion on our likes/dislikes right before shooting the scene. “I like to be choked, but not to the point of passing out. I like to be slapped, but not on my tits,” etc. Although I try not to say too much of what I like, or else it just makes it too technical. Some things are more fun discovered on their own.

AIDEN:  If it’s a BDSM scene, I introduce them to formal negotiation and instruct them to use this method for all future scene encounters. If it’s a vanilla scene, I like to flirt with and seduce my partner as though he were a new lover.

SKIN:  Usually before a scene with someone new we’ll have a quick discussion on likes/dislikes, for example: “You can slap my ass but not my face” or something along those lines. Most of the time I like to feel someone out during the scene. It’s more fun that way! But hard no’s are a good thing to get out of the way beforehand so that it doesn’t kill the mood during a scene.

JOANNA:  I honestly don’t like to outline sex with my scene partners. I feel like when I first started in porn, I felt like it was part of my job to outline how I liked getting fucked to whomever I was working with, but it never really seemed productive. You have different energy with everyone, and everyone has different energy on different days. These days I just say, “Let’s just fuck and have a good time.” I may sound like a total hippie, but I just try to feed off the other person’s energy and see what happens.

KELLY:  [On-set] communication is similar to talking with your real-life partner, just with a crew and lights and gear around. While you’re mid-scene, there’s actually a decent amount of eye contact and whispering about how things feel—and if we’re ready to move to the next position, which again is sexy because it’s something only we share in that moment. There’s definitely a lot of “Do you like this? Can you do this? It helps me come better/faster/harder” kind of talk going on. Directors do give us time to warm up to each other as well, and sometimes they give us some off-camera time to get horny with each other. Chemistry is chemistry.

TASHA:  I always ask them what they like and vice versa. I like to pay attention to what they are really into and get super turned on by and then repeat that!

What’s something you do on camera that you would never, ever try at home? And why?
