The original GLOW girl on grappling in stripper clothes, suffering a wardrobe malfunction in the ring and her new memoir.
If you’re a man of a certain age, you will never forget when GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) premiered on TV. It helped many a guy (and some women) through puberty as it showcased a variety of fetching female grapplers battling for ring supremacy.
The sexiest of the bunch was “Hollywood,” the lingerie-wearing bad girl played by Jeanne Basone for all four seasons (which comprised 104 episodes). HUSTLERMagazine.com caught up with Basone recently to chat about wrestling in stripper clothes, sexual tension among wrestlers, her wardrobe malfunction in the ring and her recently released book, Hooray for Hollywood!

HUSTLERMagazine.com: Are you okay being interviewed by us?
Jeanne Basone: Yes, I am.
You once posed in Playboy. Why not HUSTLER?
I posed in Playboy in December 1989. I think HUSTLER would have been too much for my parents! (Laughs.)
