Hardcore or High Culture?
The work of a master photographer is instantly recognizable. Marked by their distinctive style, Victor Lightworship’s photos are both strikingly bold and filled with the subtle interplay of sexual power.
The resident of sunny Southern California chose the pseudonym Lightworship, he divulges, because “in its essence, photography is the art of capturing light. In my opinion, all photographers should worship the light.” As a child, he and his father—also a professional photographer—built a darkroom in their basement where, according to Victor, “Pop taught me the ways of black-and-white film and photographic printmaking.”
