The Pornographer

Comedy is a difficult thing. As in, really fucking hard. Like trying to hit a girl in the eye with your cum shot at 20 paces. Actually, that’s easier. So it’s pretty good when a movie is funny at least half the time. And in this case, when it ain’t funny, at least it’s got porn mega-legend Kylie Ireland taking it up the ass and doing a cheesy Southern accent. And let’s be honest, Amber Rayne scorching every cock that comes close would raise any Z-grade picture to must-stroke status. The great cast makes up for the lame plotting: pussythrob James Deen plays a ’60s schlock director desperate to boost his game, but he doesn’t get around to being a pornographer until the very end! This is no Boogie Nights, in other words, but Kimberly Kane as a casting-couch starlet is great as usual, whether she’s got a dick in her or not. On the whole, the money shots outweigh the misfires, so we’re cutting this hunk o’ smut a break. Just prepare to cringe a few times between your splooge sessions.
