RAW 37

Need proof that there can be too much of a good thing? Pop Raw 37  into your DVD player—if you have a spare four hours to kill. Weighing in at two discs, this unvarnished and minimally edited exploration of Manuel Ferrara’s sexual exploits starts off well enough. Petite brunette Riley Reid exudes a girl-next-door appeal, and the lone, often stationary camera captures her passionate tangling with Ferrara with a gratifying intimacy. At first, anyway. Until the intimacy gives way to an overfamiliarity, and Raw 37  begins to resemble that point at a dinner party when the hosts drag out their Grand Canyon vacation videos. Eventually the video starts to feel like a cheap, lazy indulgence that not even Reid’s delectably bouncy rump can save as she rides Ferrara’s cock. It’s not that the sex isn’t fiery—it undeniably is—but Ferrara is combining Vine video production values with a Titanic running length here, and by the time the first cum-shot splats at the one-hour mark, your cock might very well have turned off the lights and called it a night already. The fact that all of the scenes were seemingly shot in the same bedroom—apart from the sheets, not much appears to change—only compounds the monotony. Kudos to Ferrara, anyway, for his stamina, and for assembling a seriously boner-inducing collection of female talent.
