Sinners Ball

Sinners Ball is the porn equivalent of empty calories—delicious on the surface, but ultimately devoid of much sustenance for viewers with a taste for the truly nasty. The slick-as-snot video chronicles the tale of an exclusive annual event where hand-selected guests are invited to beg, borrow or bargain for any sex act they want. The result is a dry hump from a pretty stranger who ends up picking your pocket. To be fair, Sinners Ball lives up to the usual Wicked Pictures standards: attractive performers and solid production values. What’s lacking is passion.

After a meandering introduction that emphasizes how very upscale this event is, the first sex scene depicts Jessica Drake and Asa Akira—both quite beautiful—getting drilled by their beaus. And yet, for all the lovely window dressing and semi-earnest yelps of desire, the foursome feels as sterile as a surgical procedure. Later a stiff in a tuxedo pays 15 grand to have a pair of chained, collared beauties crawl around and slobber all over his knob—a one-percenter’s indulgence that the average viewer will have as much chance of experiencing as he would of tasting a rainbow. It’s all passably entertaining fare, but in the end Sinners Ball feels like a party that you’re only allowed to view through the window outside, and where’s the fun in that?
