In this loose parody of a movie you probably haven’t seen (Beauty Shop), chocolate charmer Misty Stone plays a hooker who opens the titular salon with her gaggle of “hos.” Before long, it’s a boooty shop, with the girls offering full service. (That hourly rate is tough to beat.) In solid form as usual, Misty does a fine job of supplying both the beauty and the booty. Her two scenes—one of them with Lex “The Impaler” Steele—are hotter than a curling iron. White chick Anita Blue provides some slippery interracial action (for the brothas who need that), but save a tip for the lovely McKenzie Sweet, who climaxes the movie in style. If you’re looking to give out some NAACP Image Awards, forget it. If ghetto-girl stereotypes turn you on, this is your flick! (Nyomi Banxxx’s sexy nonsex role as Misty’s scheming rival is a hilarious highlight.) The sound and camerawork could be better, but you probably wouldn’t have noticed if we hadn’t bitched about it. And when it comes to the comedy, you might want to take a hint from Misty and get stoned before you hit play.
