Andy San Dimas Goes the Distance

Hipster-smut icon Andy San Dimas has gone from alt-porn darling to one of the industry’s most sought-after talents. Along with nailing the female leads in Rocky XXX (reviewed on page 103) and This Ain’t Urban Cowboy XXX (reviewed on page 106), the tattooed tart with the country-girl smile has popped up in a slew of new flicks, including Katwoman XXX (reviewed on page 105). Most girls would be fighting burnout by now, but according to Rocky XXX director Will Ryder, Andy’s got staying power.

HUSTLER: Was it a challenge to turn Rocky’s Adrian into a knockout?

SAN DIMAS: I think I’m good at playing characters who aren’t supposed to be sexy. Adrian is definitely the opposite of hot. I tried my best to get her dowdy personality across while still delivering a smoldering sex scene.

You seem to be the porn-parody “it girl” lately. Why?

Probably because I have a photographic memory. I can memorize things quickly, and I have a way of performing all of my characters believably. Like I said before, I’m not always trying to be sexy. I also have a strong grasp on pop culture. I understand things the typical porn girl can’t.

Do your directors get a good actress or a hot sex performer?

I’d like to think they get both! Other than parody stuff, I’m a pretty kinky chick. I like to stretch the boundaries. I also give amazing sloppy BJs! It’s why I started watching porn!

What do your parents think of what you do?

They wish I was doing something else, but they respect the fact that I’m an adult and pay my taxes and all of my own bills. They are wonderful, very moral people.

Why haven’t you done anal?

I don’t do it in my personal life. I feel like I shouldn’t do it until I’m super-experienced. I will do one anal before I quit. I have to leave my fans with that.

At this stage in your career, are you doing porn for the fame, the money or the sex?

I love all of it. I’m happy that I’ve built myself into a feature girl, because I had no idea my career would grow in this way. Making a good living is nice too. I’m not rich, but I don’t worry about paying my bills.
