Democracy Is on Your Ballot
This year you get an extra vote for the 2024 Presidential election. Please vote wisely.
I am not a member of the Democratic Party, but I will vote like one this year. The Republican Party has left me (and, I would argue, you) no other option. It has clasped hands, like Thelma and Louise, with Donald Trump, the most corrupt American politician in history (by far) to drive the nation over a cliff and into a sea of madness and authoritarianism.
I may not be a Democrat, but I remain a fan of democracy, which—as Winston Churchill once quipped—“is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.”
Autocracy didn’t work out too well in Churchill’s day. It won’t fare any better in ours. But make no mistake: It is very much on the 2022 ballot in all 50 states. So is democracy—and you get to vote for it!
Throughout the primary season, while dodging depositions and criminal investigations and accountability for stealing the nation’s most sensitive documents, the disgraced former President has managed to hoax his brain-poisoned minions into selecting dangerous sycophants for key positions on the 2022 ballot.
In the critical Presidential battleground of Pennsylvania, for example, Republican voters tapped Doug Mastriano as their gubernatorial nominee. He sponsored buses to the January 6, 2021, insurrection and led Trump’s unlawful scheme to create fake electors after the 2020 Presidential election.
