The War Racket
The Neocon radicals who hijacked our nation almost 15 years ago are still driving our bloodthirsty foreign policy, fueling conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya. Surrounded by hawks of both parties in Washington, President Obama wants another AUMF (Authority to Use Military Force) from Congress to expand military operations in the Middle East.
But there is something our political leaders and the mainstream media are not telling us: We, along with our main allies in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Israel, actively funded and equipped the Syrian rebels who morphed into ISIS—just like the bin Laden radicals we nurtured in Afghanistan in the ’80s morphed into al-Qaeda. We keep creating these Frankenstein monsters, at enormous costs—then they rage out of control, turning against us, and our leaders demand yet more resources to contain the behemoths.
