The University of Mississippi got a lesson in fact-checking in September when Ole Miss announced it would honor healthcare workers by adorning stadium drinking cups with workers’ images. Great idea, except for one teeny little oversight: No one realized that the photo they selected was actually of Steven Wolfe, aka porn star Johnny Sins (rocking that doctor vibe), who did not miss his chance to weigh in on this priceless snafu.
In a Twitter video, as shared by Saturday Down South, Sins was modesty incarnate. Quote: “I’m honored to be an Ole Miss hero on the 2020 stadium cup. I’m no hero. Just a guy who plays one. But like a doctor, you have to be ready to rise to the occasion. So, from your 2020 Ole Miss hero, I have one question for you: Are you ready?”
