It’s called “cruiser trampling” and threatens to destroy a protected natural wonder. Last November CNN reported that researchers had identified 298 “sex spots” throughout the Dunas de Maspalomas Special Nature Reserve, located on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria and known for its sweeping and majestic sand dunes.
