And so we find ourselves laughing uncontrollably at the misfortunes of New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority, which runs the subway system. Between the pandemic and a crumbling infrastructure, they have enough on their plate right now without having to deal with a search engine anomaly that’s yielding some insane results.
The story was picked up by the newspaper Queens Daily Eagle and website The Verge, which provides a lovely screenshot to illustrate the apparent glitch. Namely, when you search specific Metro-North stations in Google, you’ll get some oddly incongruous top results. For example, when searching for Ossining Station, the second result is “Ossining—Flirtatious Anal Dildo for Cock Hungry Blond Slut.” So that’s a thing.
