Brooklyn-based Ghost+Cow Films confess that Drone Boning was never intended to be jerkoff material. With its soaring ambient music and breathtaking fly-overs of scenic vistas, the first skin flick filmed entirely by drones is reminiscent of a car commercial, with fewer cars and lots more ruts. Intending to provoke thought and a few laughs about lack of privacy in the age of technology, artists Brandon LaGanke and John Carlucci learned that a hands-on directorial approach is required even if your fucking is being filmed by a flying robot. “Having to demonstrate what I meant when I asked a girl to scissor another girl was definitely awkward,” admitted Carlucci. Even Gregory Dark had to start somewhere.
