“I grew up in Sicily, and I loved the tranquility and sense of community there. Everyone knew each other and was willing to lend you a hand. I was surrounded by nature, with landscapes that changed with the seasons and sunsets that looked like paintings. However, there were few opportunities. I felt limited, like there was a whole world outside of my town, and I couldn’t wait to explore it. This pushed me to dream big.

The freedom and independence it gives me are truly important, and seeing the positive result of my work pushes me forward.
