“I’ve always been both highly intellectual and highly physical. In college, I was assigned to read Narcissus and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse, and Hesse’s talk of duality spoke to me deeply. Growing up, I did extremely well in school and even had a successful writing company while in high school where I wrote college students’ papers, résumés, business proposals and more.
