“My mom’s Colombian, and my Latin background inspired my stage name. My agent looked up some of the most popular Colombian names, and then we put them together. When people meet me in real life, they sometimes don’t believe what I do for a living. They laugh, and I have to say, ‘No, really. My stage name is Catalina Ossa. Google me!’ They do, and I’m pleased to say they’ve all been cool. Nothing negative yet.
