“Being outside in general is healing for me, but I also tend to thrive in chaos, so getting to snowboard or cliff-jump into a body of water from 50-plus feet or go rock climbing outside just fully enhances the experience,” Brendon Queue says of the adrenaline-generating activities that give him a much needed break from the stresses of sex work.

When he’s not on camera, Brendon is often in the great outdoors hiking or even cliff-jumping. How does he decide what thrilling endeavor to tackle next? “I think as long as it’s outside somewhere away from the main hustle and bustle of society, I’m content with the excursion,” he offers. Location also plays a part in the decision. “I live in Vegas, so a lot of my outdoor time is outside climbing rocks. When I can travel, getting out into the forest to put some miles in is just as intoxicating of a good time for me,” he explains. “As for the excursion itself, I want it to lead me somewhere mesmerizing, or I want it to push my limits a little bit so I can get better at whatever it is I’m doing.”

While Brendon’s gnarly excursions help him maintain balance, they aren’t without risk. “When I was 23, I drove to Virginia from my home at the time in Kentucky for a hike that just looked interesting and gorgeous and difficult. I read the background, knew it was 14 miles, knew it was a long way up and down the trail, but decided that coming with only half a gallon of water and setting off to do this hike at 5 a.m. after basically no sleep in my car was the right move,” he recalls. “I got lost in the beginning and had to climb the side of a cliff about two miles through heavy forest and shrub. I thought I was out of the sticks until I ended up straining one hip flexor seven miles in and then the other after about 11 miles in. Getting lost was not fun, nearly causing a panic attack, and then overworking my unprepared body left me limping and beat up for about a week. Lessons were learned, and now looking back, it’s pretty funny to see what amateur mistakes I made.”

Since learning a very important lesson in preparedness, Brendon is taking that skill set into his next extreme activity—BASE jumping. “I think I’ve just seen so many falling-through-the-sky videos that it’s fully piqued my interest,” the adventurer enthuses. “I like climbing several hundred or thousands of feet up mountains. I like racing down on snowboards. I like cliff-jumping. Why not step it up a notch and work on skydiving and BASE jumping too? I know it’s definitely a peg (or five) more dangerous, but I plan to go into it with safety at the very top of my list and not do anything too risky, so I can stay in one piece for my pups and the people in my life.”
