The Cypress Hill co-founder on 420, shockingly graphic fan mail and his hardcore metal band, Powerflo.
Hip-hop pioneer Sen Dog is still smoking on every level. The co-founder of Cypress Hill rolled up to HUSTLERMagazine.com to discuss the second album from his hardcore metal band Powerflo, titled Gorilla Warfare. Powerflo is a ferocious four piece made up of Sen on vocals, guitarist Billy Graziadei (Biohazard), bassist Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-Fear Factory) and drummer Fred Aching. Sen spit some bars about his hardcore rock roots, weed around the world, groupie chicks and the future of Cypress Hill.
HUSTLERMagazine.com: Are you okay being interviewed by us?
Sen Dog: Yes, I am. I’m very aware of the magazine, being a child of the ’70s and ’80s. It was part of growing up.
The average Cypress Hill fan might be surprised to discover you’re a metal fan, but you’ve been into this music since you were a kid.

That high-school friend was Dave Lombardo from Slayer?
